Jizera Mountains (Jizerské hory) are one of the oldest natural preserves in the Czech Republic. Up to this day it has preserved the features of Scandinavian forests, which attracts many visitors all year round. It borders with the Giant Mountians in the east and with the Lusetian Mountains in the west. |
During winter months, the Jizera Mountains (Jizerské hory) offer perfect conditions for winter sports. There are good slopes for downhill skiing and many tracks for cross-country skiing, which are called the backbone track of the Jizera Mountains (Jizerské hory). In summer, many people come here to go hiking or cycling, there are many tracks for walkers and bikers. Apart from skiing a hiking, there are many other activities. If you like adventure, you can try the banked chute, snowtubing, ski-jöring, bowling, or go for a horse ride.
